“bank-of -interest online banking demo”
Once you have selected a bank to go online with you will:
Have to register online with them - have email address, account number if applicable, passwords and special data in mind such as mothers maiden’s name, your first dog etc.
After a few days they will send you through the post some credentials, such as userid, that you will need to activate online with some of the data that you registered with.
There may be a delay but usually you will be up and running at this point. Some banks such as Nat West and Nationwide provide a secure card reader, which uses your banking card and PIN number as means of logging you in and authenticating and validating certain transfer transactions. It takes a few days for this type of device to be delivered (free!).
